Four for the Core

Communication without purpose is pointless. Your organization should identify a few specific measurable and realistic communication objectives and messages. These should be directly and explicitly linked to the overall business goals and strategy. We recommend four core communications:

  1. Customer satisfaction: focus on their needs and the organization’s overall mission to increase customer satisfaction.
  2. Employee well-being: focus on their morale and look for new programs, services and benefits to increase employee satisfaction.
  3. Internal process: focus on quality initiatives and projects, outcome measurement data and other items that promote operational excellence.
  4. Finances: analyze the state of the state; actively explain the financial stability of the organization and aim to decrease expenses and increase revenues.

While it may seem daunting task, streamlining your messages will have a positive effect on your productivity and bottom line.
